Mother's Day Gift

OMGoodness....can't believe it's a week since I last posted. Where did the time go?!?! I didn't think my week was that busy. *grin*
This year I decided to make my DD a Mother's Day gift. I normally don't...but I got to thinking that since she is the mother of my two grandsons that I would do something special for her this year.
I love making these chipboard coaster boxes! They are really quite easy to make and give an extra special touch to whatever gift item that you put in the decorated box. I found these 4" potted red mini-roses in the floral section of my food store. These are a perfect fit for this coaster box.
I attached the red rose vine DP (sorry don't know the name...I've had it in my paper stash for a while) to the coasters with double sided scotch tape which I found at Sams club. I find this tape holds well with the coasters. Punched all the holes with my crop-a-dile. Love this tool and so well worth the $$! The green sage ribbon is from one of the many ribbon shares I've joined. I stamped the sayings from SU! Happy Harmony in SU! Rose Romance. Then sponged the edges with rose romance. This was backed on a square scallop of SU! Sage Shadow CS.
I know I surprised my daughter with her gift. But she gave me an even better gift...my two grandsons. *smile*

Thanks for stopping by!
