Stamping Away From Home

Have you ever stamped away from home? Well I do...and I always forget at least one stamping item. Very frustrating to say the least!
I'm house/dog sitting (Thursday thru Monday) and thought what a great opportunity to get some cards made. Not! At least not as many or the one set I wanted to work on.
Forgot to pack one particular set and also forgot the ribbon. Agggg
Well I did manage to finish this birthday card today and I'm not too sure if I like it or not.
I ran my Creative Memories green through my Devine Swirls folder....then added a layer of navy Bazzill card stock. The stamps are from the Michaels $1 acrylic bin stamped with Color Box Chalk Ink. Then colored in with SU! watercolor crayons. Polka dotted organdy ribbon is from one of the many ribbon shares I've joined.
Not sure who will be receiving this card...but at least I am one up on bday cards for now. *grin*

Check out SpAzzGiRL Blog for some awesome blog candy.

Thanks for stopping by!

Very cute card!
It stresses to me to the max to work away from home because like you I ALWAYS forget something and usually it is something big, like adhesive! lol

Very cute! I love the background. I do find it hard to stamp somewhere else. There is always an element that I want which is not in my bag...some ribbon, brads, a different ink, etc. Thanks for sharing!
