I am a huge fan of the TV show Dancing With The Stars. Sooo when my son offered me two tickets to the DWTS
Tour Show...I immediately said yes! (my son works for the Phoenix
Coyotes and when there is a show at the Glendale Arena he gets two
tickets) So my daughter and I went to the show last night...WooHoo!!!! The tour show is soooo much better than the tv
show. A very high energy show. And the music....amazing!!!! Oh be still
my heart....Wayne Newton didn't dance but he sang four songs!!! What a
show and I had a blast! Just had to share.
Have a wonderful, safe and healthy New Year!

A Christmas Gift
I'm thinking of taking a short blogging break for the holidays.
Hopefully I'll be back sometime next week. In the mean time I'd like to
wish every one who stops and reads my bog a very Merry Christmas!
I made this nugget tin for the lady that does my hair. Who doesn't like chocolate! This tin was quick and easy. Again I'm not sure who the patterened paper is from...sorry. But you would understand if you only could see my stamping room and table. *grin* Total mess! I really need to clean it up so it looks a bit presentable and so I'll be able to find stuff. I know I had ordered some page pebbles but for the life of me couldn't find them this week. As soon as the holiday's are over I will be cleaning/purging my stamping/scrapbooking room. I need some organization! Be sure to check back early next year for some blog candy...with all the cleaning I will be doing I'm sure I'll have some neat things to share. So I guess that will be one of my New Year's resolutions....along with trying to eat healthy.
I hope you all have a truly blessed and Merry Christmas! Enjoy this time of year with your families.
See you shortly.

More Christmas Tags
I made these Christmas Gift Tags from PIF rak's I received on SCS. The ladies there are very generous with the images they offer up on PIF. I love how these little gift tags made with Elzybells turned out. Punched the image with my square scallop punch then colored them with my Prisma pencils and Gamasol. Backed on red bazzill paper and added doodles with the SU! white gel pen. Used Papertreyink white cardstock for the tag and used a Creative Memories scallop corner rounder. The tin is the 8 oz square from papertreyink. Not sure who made the green/gold patterned paper...but the red ribbon is more MayArts. I bought a spool of 100 yards because I go through so much red grosgrain. *grin* Did I mention that I love how this little gift turned out? *grin*

Christmas Projects
I've been busy this week making gifts for my two grandsons to give to their teachers. The tea tin is from papertreyink
and it's filled with homemade hot chocolate mix. Here' a link
to Nichole's great tutorial . It works much neater and better to punch
two holes in the label and wrap the ribbon around the tin. Trying to
adhere a label to a cylinder doesn't work to well....ask me how I know.
*grin*
The stamp set (Holiday Treats) is also from Papertreyink. Lately this has been my favorite online store....and I have my Visa bill to prove that statement. *grin*
Another project using Papertreyink tins...I just
love these little tins! Christmas Gift tags with decorated tin. I
covered the outside with patterned paper and added someMayArts ribbon to the lip of the tin lid using tacky tape.
Don't know where I found this idea to use the large scallop punch to make tags...think it was SCS.
These tags are quick and easy! Each tin holds ten tags.
I used the smallest snowflake stamp from the Snowflake Serenade Papertreyink set by stamping in Versamark and then heat embossed in silver embossing powder. Adhered that circle to a SU! scallop punched card stock. I added a circle piece of white CS to the inside for the "to/from", then added some red ribbon.
I have a few more Christmas gifts to share tomorrow.

Christmas Card 2007
Well I was determined to finish up my Christmas cards this weekend and have them in the mail today (Monday). DH didn't believe me and said why do you insist on making them...just go out and buy some boxed Christmas cards. **Oh the horrors of that statement** grin.
The man has absolutely no clue that this not only gives me a rush but I've got a fortune invested in these stamps and supplies. LOL
I normally make three or four different card designs...but this year I decided to just mass produce one design. I just LOVE how this card turned out!
Isn't he the most adorable snowman yet?!?! I bought him from WhipperSnapperDesigns a few years ago and never had inked up this stamp. If you have never used WhipperSnapperDesigns stamps you really should...they ink up and stamp so nicely. Nice and crisp.
I bought the CB folder back in July and knew I had to use it for my Christmas card. Try to find this folder now. Ha! I used SU! WaterColor crayons and my prisma pencils to color the image.
Bazzill paper and the ribbon is CTMH organdy crystal blue...it really matches the blue paper.
The sentiment is from my newest favorite stamps....Papertreyink.com.
This week/weekend I will be working on teacher gifts and gifts for some friends. Will try to post the finished projects.
Did I mention that I will be going to see Mannheim Steamroller this Saturday night....I just love their music!

Christmas Photo Cube
Still working on those Christmas cards...I'm such a procrastinator. *grin*
But I have the last of the projects that I worked on last weekend to show you. This is a Photo Cube that the great ladies on SCS posted. I didn't have any recent pics of the grandkids to put on the cube so I just made it a Christmas Cube.
And the other two sides...
This project took a bit more time to finish...only cause I had a tough time deciding how to decorate each side of the cube. I wanted them all to blend together but didn't want it too cutesy. There are actually two projects in one with this cube. I made the Tag Punch Star to finish off the top of the cube. This star may look difficult to make but once you get the hang of it...it goes pretty quickly.
The main paper for the cube is Figgy Puddin, I also used Bazzill for the solid CS. There is not a lick of stamping on this project. LOL I used some Rub-ons...quick and easy. Also a ton of Jolee's. I love how this turned out!
