Baby Shower Onsie Card

I needed to make a baby shower card for my niece who is expecting her first child...a boy. I found this baby onsie template over at SCS. You will need to scroll down to post #15 for instruction on how to print so it will fit onto your cardstock. This really is quite simple.
You know, even my DH was impressed with how this onsie card turned out and he rarely gives a hoot. *grin* I believe all the cardstock is Bazzill. I inked up my SU! Linen background stamp with a dark blue chalk ink. Layed the onsie on top and rolled my brayer over this to get good ink coverage. Then I used the edge of the chalk ink on the edges of the onsie. Gives it a bit of dimension. I found a pack of baby chipboard pieces in the $1 bin at target this past weekend. Backed the chipboard baby dimensional in a darker blue square scallop. Added three eyelets for the bottom snaps of a onsie. This came out really cute and wasn't difficult to complete at all. If you have a baby shower coming up...you have to try making a onsie card.

I'll be leaving tomorrow for a long weekend in Baltimore...family wedding.

Thanks for stopping by!
