Gift Card Holders
I was inspired by Kerry on the making of my gift card holders for my recent craft show. Kerry has some awesome ideas and is a very talented lady.
The designer paper is just scraps I had left in my stash. The stamp set I used is from Papertreyink and I used my scallop punches and added a bit of bling to them with Stickles. Again...I don't own the Top Note die and substituted my Nestie.
I really like how this Starbucks gift card holder came together and I will definitely be making more for just general gifts. I used my the large Nestie die...folded my card stock and off set the die and ran it through the Cuttlebug. You want to be able to open the holder...reason for the offset die. I ran one holder through a CB folder then I sponged some Chocolate Chip ink on the edges for depth. Added a velcro to the top for a closure. I also added a glue dot inside (with the plastic paper still on) to affix the gift card.
I found the Starbucks stamp at my local stamping/scrapping store...sorry too lazy at the moment to check the company.

A Little Christmas Gift Box
A bit ago SCS had little projects to make for Christmas...this Top Note Box is one of my favorites.
I do not own the top not die so I substituted my nestie die cut. I think it came out great and what a cute little box to give a gift card or a pair of earrings.

A Few Christmas Cards
I have a few Christmas cards to share with you all today. These were very easy to put together with Nichole's help from Papertreyink. You will need to scroll halfway down the page to see these cards. Here is the pdf file for the supplies and the directions.
Papertreyink is probably my favorite stamp company at the moment. Love Nichole's stamps, paper and inks! And the ribbon....ohhh my goodness. It is gorgeous!

More Christmas Crafts
While shopping in my local Michael's for craft show supplies I spied some hot cocoa cones up by the register for sale. I immediately had a light bulb moment....I can make these and sell at my craft show!
I bought the cone bags in the Wilton aisle...piping bags. I just did a google search for Hot Cocoa Cones...a bunch of instructions showed up. I believe I used the one from Martha Stewart. Printed a tag for instructions and used a Poinsettia eyelet from my stash of fancy eyelets.
I made up five Hot Cocoa Cones for the craft show and did not sell one...but my daughter brought them to her work and they all sold. Kinda funny what won't sell in one show and it will sell out in another.
These were fun to make and looked awesome!

Christmas Treats
Hi Everyone....I'm still here but just haven't posted in ages.
I did a craft show last Saturday and did somewhat ok. What was leftover my DD brought to her work and has sold quite a bit of Christmas items. Yeah!
I have had these store bought coffee cups/lids in my stash for ages and knew I wanted to make something for the craft show. This was the last item I made and sold out.
I put a packet of either hot cocoa or Oregon Chai tea and two gingerbread biscotti in each cup and decorated.
I used a retired SU! stamp set (Thanks a Latte) and colored with my watercolor crayons. The ribbon is SU! also. Went to my local coffee shop and asked for a hot cup sleeve. I then used this to make the red cup sleeve for my cocoa/tea cup. I even scored the sides...cute, cute, cute.
Wrapped in some cellophane and tied up with red ribbon...already for gift giving.
Love the way these turned out. Enjoy!

Valentine Treat Boxes
I wanted to make the boys something small/quick to give to their teachers for Valentine's Day.
SCS had this tuturiol on very cute Ghirardelli boxes.
I have four chocolate squares in each box...tight but they fit.
The patterened paper is SU!. The circle and scalloped circle are SU! Cardstock is from my local PaperPlus store.
All stamps are AMuse. I added stickles and a red AMuse sticker for some added bling.
I like how these little boxes came together...quick and easy.

Family Valentine Cards
I finally finished and mailed off my Valentin's Day cards today. Some may come a bit late. Sorry .... life just gets in the way sometimes.
All the cards today are from the AMuse Love/Valentine's collection. I am so addicted to AMuse these days and went totally overboard with AMuse shopping lately. Partially because we have a new scrapbooking/stamping store here in the Phoenix area. It's only been opened two weeks now and I have shopped at CropGirls three times already. Yikes...talk about being addicted. *grin* Plus I have ordered online from AMuse. So much for being on a budget lately.
Here are the family Valentine cards....all stamps are AMuse.
Sorry about the poor quality scan...scanner still acting a bit wonky. And I was just too lazy to set up with my digital camera.
Not sure if it shows up but I used the plain oval Nestie as a frame around each stamped image. IRL it looks pretty nice. I colored the soda and sunday images with my Glaze embossing pens and also used stickles...really adds the sparkle. I added an AMuse Mini dots twinkle stickers for the cherry on top of the ice cream.
For the chocolate I used my prisma pencils to color the image. I just love the new sentiment..."I love you more than..." Just so sweet!
I'm working on teacher gifts for my grandsons to give tomorrow. Will post those tomorrow.

Valentine Day Card
I have been busy this week making Valentine Day cards. Unfortunately my scanner has been acting up and acting kinda funky. So please excuse these weird scans.
This cute little card is for my Grand daughter Melanie. She is eight months old today and sooo adorable. I miss her...she live in Reno and I'm in Phoenix. *sigh*
This card was inspired by a card Jennifer posted on her blog. I also was inspired by Rose Ann of Paper Delightz for the shape/design of this card. Make sure you stop by their blog for some great inspiration! Both of these ladies are super talented.
I wanted to used my new heart nesties and this little mousie was just wanting to be inked.
And anyone who knows me .... knows I hate mice! *shiver* But this little guy is cute. He's from the SU! set Happy Heart Day.

Chocolate and Pink
I just love how chocolate and pink go together so well...don't you?
And when I was creating this card I just kept thinking of chocolate fudge brownies...yum o! So I started rummaging through my embossing jars to find something special for this cute bday card.
I found the perfect embossing powder for these yummy birthday cupcakes. Chocolate Brownie Scented embossing powder!!! Ohhhh My Goodness it actually smells like chocolate.
This card is longer than what I normally make...but I wanted to place three cupcakes on this card. I read somewhere that an odd number of items is more pleasing to the eye.
This cute little cupcake set is by Close To My Heart (CTMH) which I received from my daughter for Christmas.
I used stickles for the sprinkles for a bit of bling. The solid paper is Bazzill and the background paper is from that large slab I bought eons ago from Costco. Ribbon is from a ribbon share.
Go Cardinals!!!!

January '09 Calendar Page
Wow...Can't believe I didn't post this pic of the January page. And where did the month of January go? Time is passing way too fast lately.
This cute little stamp is an Elzybells "Winter Song". Isn't she just too adorable! Another favorite .... can you tell I have a lot of favorite stamps! *grin*
This little girl was colored with prismapencils and blended with gamsol. (Gamsol blends the pencil lines and also give a richer color...love this stuff) I also added some Stickles for a bit of bling.
Simple, simple, simple.
We in Phoenix have a new Scrapping/Stamping store opening on the 30th of this month! WooHoo...I'm so excited to be able to shop locally. If you are in the Phoenix area do stop in and check this new shop ... Crop Girls.

An AMuse Lounge Challenge Card
This card is a challenge from the AMuse Lounge Challenge...Make a card using our newest Amuse stamps. I love this little balloon bouquet stamp and sentiment. Great for birthdays! I colored the image with my glaze pens for a bit of dimension. The cardstock was cut/embossed with my new Spellbinders Labels 2 Nesties...love how these dies add a bit of dimension to paper. This was then backed with AMuse Kitchen Green CS which I ran through my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. I added some light green dotted ribbon to match. This card design came together quickly. Shhhh Don't tell...but I'll be sending this card to my grandson for his 14th birthday.
OMGoodness where did the time go. Yikes!
