A Birthday Card

I've been wanting to use this MFT set ever since it arrived at my house the other week. But life got in the way.
I finally sat down today and created a card using this MFT set. You should have seen me trying to decide on the color combination and the patterned paper. Took me forever! And I'm still not sure about the paper. *grin*
I see all these fabulous cards made with this set...but I don't think this is one of them. *grin*
I colored everything with my prisma pencils and blended with gamsol and added stickles to all the bubbles for a bit of bling.

Nothing Better...

I think there is nothing better on a hot Labor Day weekend than ice cream...and here is my Ice Cream Cone Card. Doesn't it look yummy? This is another MFT (My Favorite Things) set...I love it! I colored the images with my PrismaPencils and blended with gamsol. This has to be my favorite coloring technique. The DP is from the big pack I purchased at Costco last year....and I still have a ton of sheets left. *grin* Solid CS is SU! Pretty in Pink and Chocolate. Ribbon is from a ribbon share.
I'm pretty happy with the way this card came together.

In honor of Labor Day I will be uploading some blog candy on Monday evening. Be sure to check back if you like Halloween.

My First MFT Card

Would you believe this is my first MFT (My Favorite Things) card? I have had my eye on a couple sets of MFT for a while now and I finally broke down and purchased them. WooHoo...but my poor Visa is crying ouch! *grin*
This card
is What's Up Cupcake? and would you believe my very first cupcake stamp?!?! I'm always a bit late in purchasing the latest trend. What was I thinking???? *sigh* I just love the pink/black combo and think it worked perfectly for what I had in mind for this card.
Now on to the details: CS:Black (bazzill) SU! Pretty in Pink, Ran the pretty in pink through a cuttlebug folder then snipped the corners with the SU! ticket punch. Cupcakes are stamped in Palette Noir and the "frosting" is SU! pretty in pink with pink glaze embossing pen used for "sprinkles". The pink glaze embossing pen was also used for the cupcake liner. I added pink stickles to the top of each cupcake for a bit of bling. SU! pink rhinestone for the circle sentiment which is popped up on dimensionals.
I think I'm now hooked on MFT! *smile*
