Christmas Card 2010

This is this years Christmas card that was sent out to family and friends.

The tree is from a very special set from WMS called Nutcracker Sweet. I silver embossed the image to a Spellbinders Label Die and adhered to the base card with popdots. I ran 3/4 of the base card through my snowflake embossing folder then added two score lines with my scorpal. The Merry Christmas sentiment is also from WMS.
A very simple but elegant Christmas card.

Enjoy!

Ghiradelli Candy Holder

These little Ghiradelli holders are so cute and everyone just loves them. Word of warning here...they are a bit time consuming to make but I always make at least a dozen at a time one step at a time. Just put some music on and they will be finished in no time at all.
I know the tutorial says to use sticky strip but I found it doesn't hold that well for this project...I always use Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive. This can be found at Michaels. I also use clips to hold it together till the glue drys.

I normally use a tan/beige cardstock but this was for a special order and the lady wanted red/green holders.
There is a great tutorial over at SCS and these are the directions that I used.
The round mouse stamp is from PaperTreyInk....love this company! I also added a little bling to the mousey nose.

Enjoy!

Snowmen Hershey Bar Wrappers

Another great item to make for a craft show are these Snowmen Hershey Bars....super quick and easy. Also a very good seller.

Kerry has a great video tutorial on how to make these cuties. She has the best ideas for craft show and definitely my "go to" blog when stuck for a craft idea.
I have my last craft show tomorrow ...Sunday the 19th and have been very busy replenishing my best sellers. I will be posting my (not really my idea) Ghiradelli holders tomorrow.
Enjoy!

Cocoa Card

Talk about a simple but cute gift or stocking stuffer!
This little card is just too cute and so easy to make up.

I adhered a packet of cocoa mix to the inside with a glue dot. The chocolate candy stick is held in place on the front of the card with just the ribbon. The patterned paper is from PTI's Christmas pack and the sentiments are also from PTI. This card would be best for a bubble mailer or inserted in someone special Christmas stocking.
I was inspired by Wendy at Moonlightstamper for this Cocoa card.
Enjoy!

I'm still here!

I'm still around in Blog land but just haven't been stamping/posting lately.
I've been busy this past month making items for a few crafts shows. These M&M sticks seem to be the latest crafty item and they do sell quite well.

I just bought some 1x8 inch bags (ultra clear lip tape) at www.gtbags.com added holiday M&M's and just added a circular topper. Now how simple and cute is that?
The nutcracker stamp is from www.waltzingmousestamps.com

Enjoy!

Another Tote W/Cards

This is such an easy tote/card pattern...you can make a full set of cards (8) and the tote in less than two hours. If it took me slightly less than two hours to make I'm sure some/most stampers can make this cute gift idea in about an hour. That is how easy it is to put together.

I used SU! Au Chocolat designer paper (retired) and a nice sage green (Bazzill???)...ribbon and button are PTI. The sentiment stamp is SU!

If you would like the pattern for this project just email me and I will be more than happy to send you the PDF file. Just wanted to add that this is not my pattern...I found it at SplitCoastStampers. Sorry but I do not remember who the owner of this pattern is or I would most definitely give credit.

This was another donation for a fundraiser to help the wife/children of a young man who lost his battle with lymphoma.

Make sure you hug your family today and tell them how much they mean to you all....you just never know what tomorrow brings.

Card Tote

Today I am posting the first of two OSW (One Sheet Wonder) cards plus a tote that I have made recently for different fund raisers.
This first one is for a raffle for my grandson's band boosters.

The tote holds at least eight cards...love this! This was soooo easy to cut and assemble. If you would like the pattern/directions please email me...since I do not know how to add a pdf file to this post. This makes a very nice gift and can be made up in no time at all.
The CS is PTI and the patterned paper is a retired SU!. Stamp set is also from SU!...but I forget the name of the set.

Easter Card 2010

I have my family Easter card to share with you all today....these went out a bit late. :(
This card is my design....yeah! *grin*
But I was inspired by Mish on making some egg dodads. Aren't these just too cute?
Paper, cardstock, buttons and ribbon are all PTI.

Have a wonderful Easter Sunday.

What's Up Doc?

Carrots with the leafy greens still attached remind me of Bugs Bunny. *grin*
And this little carrot is just too cute not to make a bunch and that's just what I did. These will be perfect for a gift for everyone at Easter dinner. Or to give out at your kids school.
Now you all know me by now and know that 99.99999% of my items are lovingly copied from someone else. Just go check out this great blog...Inkin'up the Dogs for all the directions. These are really easy! I don't have a BigShot so I just used my CuttleBug and scalloped circle/oval Nesties.
Paper is PTI and SU! Enjoy!

A Little Bit Of Easter

I made these quick and very easy Easter Baskets. They are small but I love that I'm able to give a little something to some very special boys. *grin*

Wish I knew how to add a pdf file to this post...if anyone reading does know how please email me with the instructions.
If you would like the instructions email me.
I used PTI paper and two gold brads. The basket is filled with Jelly Belly jelly beans and Nestle eggs...can we say YUM. *grin*

For a little princess

I have a little princess who lives in another state than her Grammy and Pa~Pa so I try to send packages around the holidays. Ohhh how I miss her and would love to see her again soon.
This is the Easter Basket that I mailed out to Melanie the other day.
I needed something that wouldn't get crushed in the priority shipping box...I just added a few Jelly Belly jelly beans and some Nestle eggs. Paper and ribbon is PapertreyInk and the little chick stamp is AMuse.
Here's a link to the original tin .... Niki did a much better job than I did...but I like mine also.

WaltzingMouse Stamps Blog Hop

Wow...can't believe I actually finished this card! This is my very first blog hop for WM...actually my one and only blog hop for any stamp company. *grin*
Claire was so kind to post a download of WM images for those of us who haven't ordered her stamps as of yet. Thank you, Claire!
I did purchase her Celtic Lunettes patterned digi paper and I love the ease of ordering and printing.

I decided to color the shamrock image with my SU! watercolor crayons...love these! The Irish hankie that the shamrocks are wrapped was colored in a light cream to kinda replicate Irish linen. Not sure how well it shows. I chalked the edge of the oval that was cut/embossed with my Cuttlebug for just a bit of dimension.
The Irish Blessings was printed on vellum and added to the card with two gold brads. The green ribbon is PTI.
I'm quite please with how this card turned out.

Family St. Patrick's Day Cards

Well the big green day is just about here and I can't wait. I'll be making an Irish Soda Bread tonight so I can have some tomorrow for breakfast. Yum!
I have brought out my Belleek and bought my shamrock plant. Can you say I'm a wee bit Irish? LOL
I'll also be watching QVC tomorrow and drool at all the Irish items and if I'm careful I will probably do a wee bit of shopping. *grin*
I have found another great stamp site...yeah! Waltzingmouse Stamps and it is in Ireland...now how great is that? Claire not only has some awesome stamps but she also has digi papers. I used Celtic Lunettes digi papers for my card...love the authentic Irish look.

The stamp set is fairly new from PTI Luck of the Irish...ribbon is also PTI. Gorgeous yes?

Now Claire over at WM is having a blog hop tomorrow and if I can get my act together (and butt in gear) I will be posting another St. Patrick's Day card tomorrow.

I'd like to wish everyone a very happy St. Patrick's Day! We are all a wee bit Irish on St. Patty's day you know. *grin*

A small change

Sorry but I had to change the permission to post a comment to registered users only. I've been getting slammed with spam from anonymous users a lot lately.
Thanks for understanding.
Hopefully I will have a few projects posted soon.

Little Pizza Boxes

OMWord....I finally broke down and made the mini-pizza boxes! These are soooo adorable and really easy to make. For pizza box directions click here
The colored card stock is from paperplus which I am very fortunate to have around the corner from my house. I just love that store...they have the most gorgeous paper.
I purchased PTI's valentine paper to use for this project. Ribbon is also PTI.

I got a bit carried away with making these cute boxes. *grin*
I will be filling them with homemade heart shaped sugar cookies and giving them to the grandchildren and a few special people.

Oldies But Still Goodies

I have a couple birthday cards posted today...older stamp sets but still good.

Both cards have the same layout so this made it very easy for me.
The blue male card I used SU!'s retired Lovely As A Tree and just gold embossed the tree. Ribbon is PTI. This is such a classic set...if you can get your hands on this set go for the purchase. Well worth buying.

This set is another retired SU! titled Summer By The Sea...one of my favorite SU! sets.
The image is colored with my SU! water color crayons and the ribbon is PTI.

You will notice I'm starting my addiction to using buttons on my projects and cards. And of course you can find the gorgeous buttons over at PTI. *grin*

PTI Birthday Contest

Did you hear the news? PTI is having a birthday...three years! Wow!!!
In celebration of their birthday Nichole is having a contest with lots of birthday goodies. Make sure you check it out.

Here's my birthday card for the drawing:

I love using blue/brown together and isn't this cupcake darling?!?!
The cardstock is PTI and the dotted patterened paper is from that huge slab of paper I bought years ago at Costco. The chocolate yummy ribbon is also from PTI.

There is still time for me to do another card...I have till 7am tomorrow morning. Guess I'd better get cracking if I want two entries. *grin*
Enjoy!

A Winter Card

I'm making a few winter cards before I start in on Valentine's Day.
We gave the boys a few dollars as an extra Christmas present...this card held the money.
The design for this winter card came from Nichole over at PTI. You will have to scroll down about half way.

The designer paper is from the big pack I bought from Costco ages ago...guess I'm not much of a patterned paper gal. *grin*
I used PTI Enchanted Evening grosgrain ribbon ... love, love their ribbon. The ink is just chalk ink. I'm in the process of switching all my inks over to PTI ink. Nichole has such great quality products. I punched the design with a plain circle punch and backed it with an SU! scallop punch which I pierced...just to give a bit more detail.
I'm going to try Nichole's challenge to make a card using only scraps from other projects...wish me luck. LOL
